Who makes what this site specifies
Every sleeve, shroud, end cap, sheet and board named on these pages is manufactured by Gala Thermo Shrink Pvt. Ltd. at Palghar and the Surat SEZ.
A sizing desk, and the two units behind the parts
Clearance Index publishes millimetres. It makes nothing. The GSC, GMB and GHB sleeve, the GEHB 66 kV sleeve, the BUSBOOT shroud, the BUSCAP end cap, the GMHS and GHHS bus sheet and the GBBS barrier board are all manufactured by Gala Thermo Shrink Pvt. Ltd., a member of the Gala Group trading as Gala Shrink Fit.
The range divides across the two units by process rather than by product family. Heat-shrink tube is extruded at Palghar in Maharashtra, the older site, which also runs moulded shapes, cable accessories and PVC moulding. A second unit inside the Surat SEZ in Gujarat, opened 2011, makes moulded shapes.
That division maps onto this site cleanly enough to be worth knowing. The four sleeve series are extruded tube; BUSBOOT and BUSCAP are mouldings, in PVC or in cross-linked polyolefin. Nothing between compounding and dispatch is bought in, and three laboratories sit on site: partial discharge, high voltage, and general product testing.
This site sizes and specifies; we do not make. Where a figure here needs a document behind it, that document is the manufacturer's — a datasheet, a UL file, a test report — cited on the page that uses it. The ANSI, IEC and ASTM methods behind those figures are decoded once, on the standards page.
Capacity, as the manufacturer publishes it
From a size code to a purchase order
A code on its own buys nothing. Five facts turn it into a quotable line, and sending them together is what separates a two-email enquiry from a six-email one.
- Bar section in millimetres. Width plus breadth on a rectangular bar, diameter on a round one. A 100 × 10 mm bar sums to 110 mm, and that sum — never the current rating — picks the code out of the size chart.
- System voltage. Wall grade follows from it: GSC to 3.3 kV, GMB to 24 kV, GHB to 36 kV, and GEHB as the separate 66 kV series. The same 110 mm bar carries three different part numbers across the first three grades, so a code quoted without a voltage is ambiguous.
- Run length per phase, and the number of phases. Reel length is a property of the code: 100 m on the smallest thin-wall sizes, 25 m or 20 m through most of the range, 1.5 m on the largest heavy-wall ones. Length converts to reels, not to pieces.
- Geometry at every interruption. Straight and angled bar takes sleeve. A bolted joint, a tee or an elbow takes a moulded shroud; an exposed bar end takes a BUSCAP. Count them first — each is a separate part number.
- Destination and mounting. Indoor or outdoor, and the country of delivery. Sales run through appointed agents, distributors, electric utilities and OEMs into more than 100 countries.
- Anything non-standard, as a dimensioned sketch. Custom shapes, connections and colours are published as available on the shroud and cap sheets. A drawing with numbers beats a paragraph describing the connection.

Reproduced as published. A certificate earned by one product family is not evidence about another, and the third column keeps them apart.

Dates as published by the manufacturer. The two UL rows are the only entries here that carry a product scope.
Six numbers this site will not print
No price, no lead time, no minimum order quantity and no stock position appears anywhere on this domain, because nothing in the published record supports one. Plant count and plant area are omitted for a second reason: neither can be verified against a single authoritative source, and a number that fails verification costs more on a vendor questionnaire than a blank does. What this page does not establish is whether the factory can serve your programme. 9 million metres a year is an annual total across every tube the two units extrude, and it says nothing about one 24 kV heavy-wall run in one week. Capacity is not availability, and availability is answered by the manufacturer, not by a sizing reference.

Bar width and breadth in millimetres, the system voltage, and a count of joints, tees and open bar ends. That returns a part number against every metre and every interruption in the run; reel quantities fall out of the codes.
